Privacy policy
We collect the minimum needed to quote, ship and support a display order — and we never sell it.

01Who is responsible for your data
Smwart Technology Co., Ltd., registered in Shenzhen, Guangdong, China, is the controller of the personal data described here. Write to sales@smwart.cn for anything relating to this policy; we answer within one business day.
02What we collect
We only ask for what a quotation or an order actually requires.
- Enquiry data — name, work email, company, country, product and quantity, and the message you send us.
- Order data — billing and shipping address, phone number, purchase history, and the tax or VAT number you give us for the invoice.
- Technical data — IP address, browser type, referring page, and the campaign parameters (utm, gclid) attached to the link you arrived from.
- Support data — photographs, videos, serial numbers and error logs you send when reporting a fault.
03Why we hold it, and on what basis
- To answer your enquiry and issue a quote — legitimate interest, and steps taken at your request before a contract.
- To perform an order — contract: production, export clearance, freight, invoicing and after-sales service.
- To meet legal duties — legal obligation: Chinese tax and customs records, export documentation.
- To improve the site and measure campaigns — consent, collected only after you accept analytics cookies.
- To send occasional product updates — consent, withdrawable from any email in one click.
05International transfers
Our operations run from China and our servers sit in Hong Kong and the European Union. Because a display order usually crosses at least two borders, your data will be transferred outside your country of residence — including to regions whose data protection rules differ from your own.
Where the transfer leaves the EEA or the UK we rely on the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses, supplemented by encryption in transit and access limited to the staff who handle your account.
06How long we keep it
- Enquiries that do not become orders — 24 months from the last contact, then deleted.
- Orders, invoices and export documents — 10 years, because Chinese tax and customs law requires it.
- Warranty records — the warranty term plus 12 months.
- Analytics — 14 months, aggregated after that.
- Marketing consent — until you withdraw it.
07Your rights
You may ask for a copy of your data, have it corrected or deleted, restrict or object to processing, or receive it in a portable format. Email sales@smwart.cn with the subject "Privacy request" — we reply within 30 days and never charge for the first request.
If you are in the EEA or the UK you may also lodge a complaint with your national supervisory authority. We would rather you came to us first, so we can fix it.
09Security
The site runs over TLS end to end. Payment card data is handled by the payment provider and never stored on our servers. Access to order and enquiry records is limited to named staff and logged.
10Changes and contact
We update this page when our practice changes and revise the date at the top. Material changes affecting existing customers are also announced by email. Questions: sales@smwart.cn.
